As they learn to live together, a powerful attraction flourishes between Megan and the young man. Although he s street smart, tough and mature, he s also a youth in transition. When they finally give in to the sexual heat between them, Megan fears she’s taking advantage of her position as his mentor.

Their relationship challenges every aspect of her life. Megan must make difficult choices between the conflicting demands of her friends and family, her career and love.

A beautiful gripping book that is without doubt one of my favorites, the writing is amazingly descriptive. It’s haunting and passionate, touching and heartbreaking. I loved it!

“Sometimes…I think maybe you saved my life.”

This was a difficult read but one that I am so happy I persevered with it and finished it. The subject matter is very difficult but the author handled it beautifully and the emotional depth was something I truly felt. I really connected with Sean and Megan and was rallying for them the whole way,
It was a bit disconcerting with the age of Sean but once again, the way the author handled the story made you accept him and his past.
This book definitely had me thinking the next day. A moving and heartfelt story.
