Fame and fortune arrived overnight and after months on the road with her singing tour, all Estelle craves is peace. Tired and ready for paradise, she travels to Fiji to recuperate.

Stubborn and surly, Galloway is avoided by most–which is exactly the way he likes it. However, he’s done spending his life in regret and hopes to find redemption in the tropical wilderness.

Together, they board the flight that changes their fate forever. Crash landing on a deserted island, they not only have to figure out how to survive with no skills and daily dangers–learning how to fish, find water, and build shelter–but also inherit two children who look to them to keep them alive.

However, staying alive might be the least of Galloway and Estelle’s problems. As days creep to months and rescue doesn’t find them, their desire for each other ignites.

They started as strangers.
They grew to be friends.
They fought the desire to be lovers.

Lust can be the most beautiful thing. Love the most rewarding. But not on an island where life hangs by a thread and giving into temptation can kill you.

Can they survive being forgotten or will love be their ultimate undoing?

From New York Times Bestseller Pepper Winters comes a timeless love story answering the question of what happens when everything is stripped away.

Unseen Messages

**Spoiler-Free Review**

‘LIFE OFFERS EVERYONE messages. Either unnoticeable or obvious, it’s up to us to pay attention.’

Unseen Messages is a story that is not merely made up of words; it’s a vivid imagery of such powerful scenes and settings. A story of people you come to know as if they were sitting next to you on the couch telling you their story through pictures and video snapshots.  Explicit memories of life.

Who is she? Pity fate couldn’t talk. If it could, I would’ve heard the reply: She’s your beginning. Your end. Your salvation.’

Through a brilliant and masterful penmanship a world was created from which sights, sounds, smells and tastes were transferred from pages into the very being of us, the readers. It was an incredible journey where we lived and breathed with characters that became a part of our lives. A life-time which felt so incredibly real it was as if we too travelled the length of it.

‘In those horrifying moments of mortality, I introduced the ideal me to the real me.’

Sometimes we stumble as our own words cannot begin to do any justice to another’s; this being one of them. Magnificent – Awe-Inspiring – All encompassing. Think of a word bigger than the one you can grasp, the one you know, and you’ve only just scratched the surface of how we feel upon finishing.

‘This wasn’t an opportunist fling because of our circumstances. It was a true connection between two people who happened to be thrown together by fate.’

Estelle and Galloway stole our hearts. Admittedly it took us a while to warm up to Galloway as his actions and behaviour were hard to understand, however, complexity and extremity bring intensity and magnified instincts to survival outside the comfort zone. To even tell you about their story feels like we’d be betraying them, it’s not up to us. THEY NEED to tell you, actually strike that. They need to show you as they showed us.

‘His touch felt like a hundred fireflies-bright, flickering, and completely alive against my flesh.’

Unseen Messages is so much more than what we expected. Surviving the bleakest moments in life whilst hanging onto a thread of hope- forced to sacrifice all that you know whilst life paints you a vivid picture of who you were, who you are now and who you are to become. Dreaming a dream whilst living a harsh reality. Learning, loving, adapting and accepting. Outside influences bearing down on you as you try to keep your head above the water. Survival is instinctual as you fight and fall in love amidst turbulent tragedy.

‘I was completely at her mercy. I might be the one touching her body, drawing physical desire. But she was the one touching my soul, wrapping strings around my heart and fastening me to her forever.’

We have to add the following which we believe to be an important message to readers and Authors alike. We knew it was going to be a long book which would take the better part of a weekend to read if not longer. Therefore we postponed it and admittedly debated over when and if. We stayed away from reviews as we abhor spoilers yet other readers’ ratings came trickling back to us, very much divided and to some extent portrayed Unseen Messages as a Marmite book. Well, we love marmite books, they’re the best kind as they lure us with those differing opinions. You see, when a book reaches such opposing ends of the scale it makes it that much more special and enticing. It begs us to read it as we want to see which end of the scale we belong to as readers.

‘Love doesn’t live in first glances. Life doesn’t dwell in second chances. Our path exists in unseen messages.’

For us, Unseen Messages was a masterpiece. It was astounding. So many tears- such broken hearts. So much joy- such blissful hope. We experienced something incredible which will forever remain in our hearts. From page one till the last- our senses, emotions, our hearts and our lives were in the hands of Pepper Winters and through her stunning, poetic and passionate writing she held ours. Every step of the way. We urge everyone to pick up this book and be transported to a place and time where you too will be lost until you wake up and wonder how on earth you move on from here.

‘Home is where the heart is. Home is where the soul is found. Home is where the good times laugh. Home is where the hard times heal. Home is home and there is no place I would rather be.’

Ruin & Rule 7th July

“We met in a nightmare. The in-between world where time had no power over reason. We fell in love. We fell hard. But then we woke up. And it was over . . .”

She is a woman divided. Her past, present, and future are as twisted as the lies she’s lived for the past eight years. Desperate to get the truth, she must turn to the one man who may also be her greatest enemy . . .

He is the president of Pure Corruption MC. A heartless biker and retribution-deliverer. He accepts no rules, obeys no one, and lives only to reap revenge on those who wronged him. And now he has stolen her, body and soul.

Can a woman plagued by mystery fall in love with the man who refuses to face the truth? And can a man drenched in darkness forgo his quest for vengeance-and finally find redemption?

We met in a nightmare, loved in a prayer. We gave everything until both were laid bare.”

To say this lady is a phenomenal writer is an understatement. Pepper Winters awakened every one of our senses with the evocativeness of her words. We could see, hear, taste and touch every single stunning line she wrote, all the while making us the willing captives of her gripping and poetic prose.

Ruin & Rule was a cat and mouse story that had us trying to unravel conspiracy theories left, right and centre. This is set in a biker world where nothing is as it seems and where avaricious manipulative men vie for power. It’s a world where lies and treachery, secrecy and deceit reign supreme.

“I don’t’ know the word ‘decent.’ Life beat that godforsaken word out of me, along with the knowledge of forgiveness, gentleness, and right and wrong. “

Arthur “Kill” Killian is the current Prez of the Pure Corruption Biker Club. This man is shrouded in mystery from his past. He has a thirst for revenge and violence with vengeance and hatred running through his veins. He has a debt to settle and nothing will get in his way.

‘He had the manners of a gentleman all wrapped up in the cutthroat harshness of a criminal.’

Suffering amnesia, Sarah is a woman without a past who comes face to face with Kill when she unwittingly becomes part of a deal to be sold as a sex slave by the club. When Sarah first sees Kill, she feels an intense and unexplainable connection with him. There is something about his eyes; a recognition that sets off a trigger which sees her memory being recalled in small glimpses

“Don’t fear the truth around me….please don’t be afraid.”
“I’m more than afraid…I’m absolutely fucking terrified.”

Does Sarah know the unpredictable, violent Kill? Is he somehow a part of her past?  As Sarah’s memory starts to return we too learn her past as we relive it with her bit by bit. And so begins the journey of finding out who is who and what is what. Sarah’s scattered fragments of memory had us begging for more! We were eagerly awaiting those moments of realisation right along with her as we were drip fed the memories of the love she shared with a man she believes to be Kill.

‘I’d found him in my dreams and awoken to him in my nightmares.’

For Kill, this woman, who bears such a resemblance to the woman he had loved and lost eight years earlier, elicits painful memories he had left buried in the recesses of his heart. Who is this woman and was their meeting some kind of cruel trick? The pain, suffering and volatility of this man, who seemed to be holding on by a thread, could be felt through the pages.  He could be a right bastard, but he had loved a woman with all his heart and in the place of love, his heart had been blackened with pain and  the need for vengeance. Kill had become a heartless and fearless leader in Pure Corruption and seeing Sarah opens up old wounds  reminding him of the woman he had loved and lost and leaving him feeling vulnerable.

‘She made me want things I’d sworn never to want. She made me weak. She made me hate.’

There is no doubt about it, Pepper Winters captivated us with her writing; the execution was clever, the twists made our heads spin, the romance made our hearts race and the gripping end to this story left us open mouthed and needing the next book…now!  There were moments when felt the story tended to move a bit slowly and like Sarah we found ourselves getting frustrated and thinking…’just tell us’ but it all led to that crescendo that left us desperately wanting Sin & Suffer yesterday! Also, there  were times we were  left a tad confused at the somewhat choppy past/present jumps. But overall this book was a winner! For every answer there was a question and we loved that we were always kept on our toes in this engrossing, raw and passionate story!  We really loved this one and it’s safe to say we’ll be bumping up the other books we have on our Kindles from this very talented author!

‘Pain came in many forms. Loneliness. Betrayal. Sacrifice. But I’d found love to be the most painful of all. I was invincible when no other emotion controlled me. I was single-minded in my determination to deliver justice. I had a gift of blotting out the world.’
