SYNOPSIS
Getting a boy to fall head-over-heels in love with you isn’t easy. Especially when he’s been in love with your cousin for as long as you can remember.
Lana has lived her life in her cousin’s shadow. Ashton always made perfect grades, had tons of friends, and looks model-perfect. And she’s always had Sawyer Vincent—the only boy Lana’s ever wanted—wrapped around her finger. But now things are different. Lana has a chance to make Sawyer see her, and she’s taking it. If only he’d get over Ashton—because Lana is sick of second-best.
Sawyer’s heart is broken. He’s lost his best girl to his best friend. And then Lana comes to town. Ashton’s cousin has always been sweet and soft-spoken, but now she’s drop-dead gorgeous as well. Sawyer doesn’t know if Lana can heal his broken heart, but spending time with her might at least make Ashton jealous.
What starts as a carefree fling becomes a lusty game of seduction. Sawyer and Lana may have different motives, but their scintillating hookups are the same kind of steamy. . . .

“When you fall for the one who owns you, she’ll be the only one that has the power to make you cry” – Beau…*sigh*
WOW…I am in my happy place right now…I LOVE LOVE LOVED
The Vincent Brothers!! This was a PERFECT sequel..and I have to say I read it in one sitting because I cannot get enough of the Vincent Brothers and THAT accent which I hear in my head clear as day and that has a piece of my heart!!
Shhh …whispering…
(I think this one might just be my fave and my ♥ belonged completely to Beau before but now ♥ ♥ Sawyer ♥ ♥ !!)
The Vincent Brothers picks up 6 months after the break-up of Sawyer and Ashton. Sawyer is still hurt, heartbroken, and angry trying to come to terms with seeing them together every day and adjusting to the fact that his brother is with the girl he loves.(In the Vincent Boys, Sawyer and Ashton broke up after she fell in love with Beau and him with her.)
We didn’t really get to know the “real” Sawyer all that well in the first book and I have to admit that because we saw him through Ashton and Beau’s eyes I kind of disliked him..alot..(I feel really bad now!!). However, in The Vincent Brothers we get to hear Sawyer’s voice and see things from his perspective and get how he felt about what happened with Beau and Ashton. I LOVED that! It made him real and it put his behavior into perspective! I loved getting to know Lana too as in the previous book she was there but didn’t really leave much of an impression on me as a side character.
So…Sawyer and Lana’s journey begins when they “bump” into each other on a night out. Lana, Ashtons cousin, is there for the summer and is staying with Ashton. Lana has changed her appearance over the last six months in order to finally get Sawyer to notice her, as she has long been in love with him –
“Sawyer was always the Vincent boy worth fighting for. He’s the special one” – Lana
Sawyer does indeed notice Lana, but unfortunately he has plans to use her as a way to make Ashton jealous and as a summer distraction for himself. His plan, (which made me pretty mad!!!) doesn’t quite go as well as expected though when Lana gets to him in a way that not even Ashton did. I LOVED Lana because despite her sad personal circumstances which should have knocked her down; she stood up for herself, she was feisty, she knew what she was worth and didn’t take any nonsense. Just what Sawyer needs!!! And Sawyer *sigh* he really got me mad at times but he totally redeemed himself and this one scene (won’t spoil it) had me in tears and I felt all emotional!!! When Sawyer loves…he LOVES!!!
I LOVED the epilogue too..I’m a sucker for epilogues and this one – PERFECT!!!!
I feel kind of sad now that it’s over but happy and satisfied too..(I am hoping that it doesn’t end here though ;0).
This series is amazing and I can’t recommend it and Abbi Glines enough!!!
