THE REDHEAD REVEALED (Redhead #2) – by ALICE CLAYTON

I went straight from The Unidentified Redhead to The Redhead Revealed  and I am completely addicted to Crazy Nut Gracie and Sweet Nuts George and I had to have more!!!

Alice Clayton is FAB-U-LUSH she has a fab writing style that effortlessly flows and captures the emotions and depth of her characters!! I am hooked!! Right enough “schmaltz”….;0) LOL.

Again, this story was pure class of a slightly different variety. Still full of hilarious one liners and witty sexual innuendos (YAY), still very very sexy and HOT (double YAY), still sweet and tender (sigh) but now add angst, drama and old insecurities to the mix. I actually burst out crying in one particular scene. Shocker!! Definitely much more of an emotional read than book #1!

“Johnny Bite Down” and Gracie are still absolutely amazing together and I have to say I am utterly JEALOUS of Grace..love her to bits but WOW lucky girl!!!

“If I wanted to make you stay in all night with me, all I’d have to do is wave some candy in front of you and then kiss on your sweet breasts. You’d be putty in my hands.” He grinned sexily.

“There’s candy?” I asked, looking around wildly.

Jack laughed so hard he fell off the bed. I never did find that candy.

“The Brit Came.

In me.

Brilliant.”

Anyway I digress…LOL

Grace and Jack’s careers are just starting to take off which finds them at opposite sides of the country. Grace is in New York where she’s getting ready to start rehearsals for her starring role in a new stage show ( with her – “more than friends” – Michael – with the melty brown eyes – from the past). Meanwhile, Jack is back in L.A. getting ready for his big movie premiere. Grace and Jack however are still keeping their “bubble of sex” alive with steamy phone sex and text messages.

“Aw, I missed you too George. I really did, I whispered, kissing him softly, breathing in his warm S’more-y smell. There was really no way I would ever eat a S’more again without wanting to have sex with it. If the marshmallow just came off the flames, that could hurt…..” – Crazy Nut

It is not long though before the distance starts to interfere along with doubts, resurfacing past insecurities, press rumours and above all “the AGE thing”!! This leads to Grace – That Redheaded Hamilton Fucker wondering if her and Jack should stay together…and/or whether she should explore her “more than friends” Michael?! (Can I just say that I really really liked Michael! He was snoggable, sweet, yummy, funny and not at all a bad guy!!)

Jack and Grace’s journey is in this book..one emotional, heartbreaking, funny and sexy ride that I did not want to get off!!!

I am HOPING that Alice Clayton somehow reads this review (yes I know stretching it a bit!!) but I NEED more George and Grace, Holly and L’s story (if that works out!!) and it’d be nice to have Michael’s too!!! Not asking alot is it?? LOL….
