My Liege of Dark Haven (Mountain Masters #3) by Cherise Sinclair

This Author is my absolute go to when I have that urge for a bit of sparkly indulgent kink! Cherise NEVER disappoints and with the third instalment of the series ‘Mountain Masters’ she proved yet again why she truly rocks BDSM kink as well as her gorgeous emotionally tortured heroes and heroines!

Her writing is brilliantly flawless in this genre, bringing to life her story with such intensity and making the journey so very vivid that you get under the skin of her characters.

The story of Xavier and Abby is ultimately a beautiful romance. Both characters have not only got a troubled past but present too. Each of them feeling lonely and lost yet not necessarily consciously admitting to this. They have erected walls around themselves in order to live day to day suppressing their ultimate needs and wants.

Abby is an intelligent, sweet and very insecure woman. Under pressure to keep her position as a Professor she decides to do a research paper on BDSM at Dark Haven.  Unbeknownst to Abby she enters a world she was meant to be in but with little to no knowledge of BDSM she is immediately noticed by the Liege of Dark Haven; Xavier who is not only a gorgeous dominant but the owner.  Their journey begins from a simple misunderstanding and ends up changing their lives.

This story has romance, passion, true emotional moments, amazing characters and it has the trademark Cherise humour!

We also get to revisit old characters which I loved and there’s even a tie in with Shadowlands (another great series!)

Warning: This is BDSM so yeah, you know what that means…A LOT of naughty “wink wink; nudge nudge” but if you’ve read and love Cherise Sinclair like I do then you want to read this series ;0)
