G&J: Anything for You is a short story where we revisit Jen and Shane from the first book Because of You in the Coming Home series.

We really enjoyed catching up with this couple again. If you haven’t read Because of You we highly recommend it, not only before you read this short story but because Jessica Scott is an amazing Author and her Coming Home series is both beautiful and emotional whilst depicting the real and heart-breaking sides of war. This lady really does write from the heart and it shows.

In Because of you, Jen, a cancer survivor, is the nurse assigned to Shane’s recovery process when he returns home injured from the war in Iraq. Both find in each other what they need to heal both body and mind; soul and heart.

When we return to them we find them still in love yet with a tough decision to make over something that will change their lives. Each fears for the other, the possible heartbreak of losing the love of their life from war or returning cancer.

They face the challenge of what if and how one decision could possibly change their lives forever if……..

We both have a tremendous respect for Jessica Scott. Not only as career Army Officer but as an outstanding Author who writes from her heart.

I have had the privilege of reading and reviewing each of Jessica’s novels. I was sooo excited when she wrote Anything for You because Shane and Jen are very special to me. To Iraq and Back opened my eyes to Jessica’s world . I am so grateful for her service to our country, and her talent for making us fall in love with her characters.
