Well, it has been a while but……..

MB IS BACK!!!

I told Gitte & Jenny that I wanted to review another book and to make it a good one!!

I told them I don’t want,” he loves me, he loves me not” or drippy romance with a bit of sex thrown into it. I want hot women with sex as the story, and I said…..WOMEN!!!  MB has to keep an eye on these two. They once tricked me into reading an MMF book. That sure did give MB a shock!

Did they listen to me when they said I could review Strings by Kendall Grey?

I have read a few rock star genre books and as my followers know,  MB had a little thing for Myrna from Backstage Pass. So Letty Dillinger from Strings had a lot to live up to.

Do you all remember the movie Jerry McGuire , when Renee Zelwegger says “you had me at hello”?

Well Letty Dillinger had MB at ” if my nipples could ejaculate and holy anal mishaps Batman”.

What a girl!  Move over Myrna,  Letty is in town with her melted muff butter and dirty mouth. I love her and I loved this book. The book centres around Letty (my new girlfriend) and her all female band and a rivalry with an all-male band. The male love interest is Shades, who is a pretty cool dude who is down with that funky shit. The story revolves around these 2 characters and their music and relationship with each other.

Letty is like Myrna if she was on crack and went on  a week’s bender beforehand. She has the sex drive of a monkey on Viagra and makes Myrna look like a nun. Her sexual appetite and depravity knows no bounds and she does things that I haven’t even thought of which is impressive.

How many times have I read about a woman thinking or saying” does he love me”? Not Letty.  She says it like it is and doesn’t hold back and trust me! We men love it. If you ladies want to know what us men like, you need to read this book!

We don’t want to hear “darling make love to me” or “I need to feel your touch“.  To quote Letty, we want to hear “fuck it like you hate it“…”yeah baby scream that shit..”

What I enjoyed as well with this book was Letty herself. She is a really interesting character and the phraseology she uses is like nothing I have read before. I found myself laughing out loud whilst reading this book, which is a first for MB. This is down to Kendall’s writing, which I applaud.

I was annoyed to hear that some readers have been slating this book. Everyone is of course entitled to their opinion but what I don’t get is why they continue reading it if they don’t like it. This makes no sense to me. Do you carry on eating food you don’t like? No, so why do it with books? I hear people say, I need to know how it turns out.. No, no you don’t.  It’s just like when I eat cheese, I know how that will turn out.  I will throw up because I don’t like it.

If you know you are not going to like the content why read it? MB is not a fan of 18th century French art, so I don’t buy books on the subject, read about it and say to the world in a review that I didn’t like it…Someone needs to stick up for these authors and MB is in the corner of Kendall Grey, so bring it..

I really enjoyed reading this book and I think Kendall has done a superb job. Yes the book has dirty language in it. Yes it has sex in it and yes there is a warning listed before you buy. So if you are prude don’t buy it, it is that simple.  The story had me hooked, the characters had me interested and at 50%, as I exploded in my pants and I realized that Letty is the girl for me.

Thank you Kendall Grey for my best read in a long time and I will always remember where I was when I met the delicious Letty Dillinger…….stuck to myself after the explosion in my pants..
