SYNOPSIS

Despite having been besotted with Dante Garcea since she was a child, wolf shifter Jaime Farrow figures that it’s time to move past the crush. As the pack Beta, Dante doesn’t have the space or time in his life for a relationship. As such, he ignores his intense hunger for the willful – and sometimes crazy – Jaime. Yet when her flirtations abruptly end, Dante finds that he doesn’t like losing her attention. He finds something else too – Jaime’s hiding something. Determined to uncover her secret, he sets out to break through her defenses, even though being around her intensifies his cravings for her. What he finds is a problem that Jaime is convinced not even a powerful Beta can solve.

Gitte: You know what Ladies and Gents? There’s such a thing as hot paranormal indulgence and this series is just that. I’m in love with it and its Author. I have a HUGE lustful crush on everyone involved, I’m not ashamed to say that. This is one of those no nonsense feel good books that just makes you feel great. We have Dante the pack Beta who doesn’t do relationships and love and then poor broken and long suffering Jaime who’s loved him since childhood but who’s given up on anything happening between them. This is pure kick-arse wolf pack drama; crazy arsed alphas, beyond hilarious dialogue and filthy hot passion all rolled into one hell of an addictive read. It ticks ALL the boxes. This is the kind hot wet dreams are made of and I can re-read and umm re-read certain scenes till the cows come home.

“You won’t be jumping into some guy’s bed, Jaime. You’ll be in mine. Oh yeah, deny it if you want, but we both know it’s going to happen. I’m getting inside that pussy. You’re going to take every inch of me and you’re going to love it.”

My list of book boyfriends is long…so long that I know I have a problem, it’s a problem I can live with though. I’m a book boyfriend slapper I know that but come on….if after you’ve read Wicked Cravings you don’t stick Dante Garcea right up there in the top of that BB list alongside Trey from Feral Sins, the first book in this series,( I know you all have one too by the way)…then yeah I’ll eat my words. Dante will literally bulldoze his way into your heart and body (I wish) and make you feel tingly all over.

Talk about a beta being alpha!!! Pass me the ice bucket Jenny, I’m recalling all kinds of scenes from this book…..

“Mine, Jamie. No one else will ever fuck this pussy again. It belongs to me – you belong to me. Admit it.”….”Admit it or I’ll stop right now and come all over you.”

Jenny: I think I’m still in a state of post Dante lusty bliss right there with you G! Hot paranormal indulgence indeed! I am in LOVE with this series. I was so excited when we finally got to delve back into the world of The Phoenix Pack and Wicked Cravings didn’t disappoint. This is absolutely one of those feel good series, that’s read with a constant smile on your face…not to mention a fan in your face as well….Whoaaaa… This hot group of alpha bad ass wolves and their equally bad arse mates has won me over completely! It’s become my naughty indulgence that’s for sure and I need MORE!

*GULP!* If you’re a book boyfriend slapper then I’m a book boyfriend floozy because my list is as long as Texas! And Dante Garcea (gah…even his name is HOT) is up the top of that list….tingle is an understatement!! This guy sent electric currents in some scenes!

Gitte: So…Dante my Dante…you powerful, controlling, funny and possessive beast of a man.

“Give me a number between one and twenty.”

Unable to see where this was going, she shrugged. “Eleven.”

“You lose. Now strip off your clothes.”

If I tie myself to a tree and ignore you and your mating calls, will you come and ummmm….Hang on no spoilers, must remember this. But wow WHAT A SCENE. I may have re-read that one a few times before I could continue with the story.

“I’ll spank your ass so damn hard there’ll be a permanent handprint right there.”

Saying that, this guy is a true OCD workaholic but with a heart of gold, he’s compassionate, he’s loyal and he truly cares and protects his pack members. He’s a bad arse with a capital A-R-S-E. But you can’t really blame the guy for having an aversion to relationships, he got burnt by a conniving bitch (pun intended) and hasn’t got the best reference to call upon. I have to say though, that when he loves he LOVES and when he’s gorgeously sweet, he’s SWEET!!!

“I know I’m a little fucked up. Don’t give up on me baby. I’m not saying that things will suddenly be perfect. I’m a guy, and guys can be stupid. I admit I need the room to mess up a little. I can’t promise I won’t piss you off again, but I can promise you that I’ll never deliberately hurt you. Nothing is more important to me than you. Nothing.”

And what about Jaime, she was hilarious, sensitive, assertive and oh so vulnerable. I really liked her and thought she suited Dante perfectly! She brought chaos to the organised, for that happy equilibrium!! Again, the dialogue between the insufferable Greta and Jaime had me in stiches…

“At one point, you practically stalked poor Dante.” – Greta

“Stalked? No, I just watched him. At night. From behind a bush. Using night-vision googles.” – Jaime

Jenny: Oh bloody hell…..a stroll in the forest will NEVER be the same again G. THAT SCENE! We were certainly discussing that one over a vino or two!

*Gulp!* Once again, the heroine in this book is kick arse. She doesn’t take crap, she doesn’t mess about and wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s witty, sassy and sexy as hell and no wonder Dante was smitten with her….and lusted after her constantly. These two were passion personified!

“Do you know what you taste like? Sin. You taste like sin.” – Dante

Jaime had issues self-esteem issues and has problems letting down her walls and she tried, unsuccessfully, to hide her problems from the pack. Never being a part of such a close knit pack before, Jaime soon ensconced herself into this tight knit unit..and yes…she was even a match for the acid tongued but albeit hilarious Greta!! That woman has NO filter.

“You shouldn’t’ be surprised that he isn’t interested. What would he want with a big-breasted, fat-assed slut like you?” – Greta
“I wish the wizard had lived up to his promise and given you a heart.” – Jaime

Jaime didn’t take crap from anyone, least of all Dante. Yet she had a vulnerable side brought about by a past trauma that affected her and her wolf. Having them both on the same page was something Jaime struggled with and as a consequence, her mere existence could prove to be a threat to the pack.

“You know how broken I am, you -” – Jaime
“You’re not broken,”….”Don’t talk about yourself like that. On the contrary, you’re stronger than most people I know.” – Dante

Jaime has a fight on her hands, not only in the inner struggle with her wolf and their emotions, but with the supremely alpha beta Dante who will stop at nothing to possess her. Dante and Jaime are as sweet as they are seductive, as bad arse as they are endearing and each are as intimated as they are captivated with each other. I loved them both and both.

G&J: So yeah, we loved this second instalment with the wolves. We love all the characters, the storylines and we want more…much more. It was great to be back with all the characters from Feral Sins and we have to say the birth scene with Taryn and Trey had us crying with laughter is an understatement.

“Don’t you touch me, Flintstone, this is your fault! Don’t think we’re playing Hiding Pedro ever again!”

We can’t wait for Nick and Shaya’s story and we are literally BEGGING Suzanne Wright to give us Dominic’s story because we LOVE him and his cheesy one-liners. We want to meet the lucky girl who gets her hands on this luscious wolf!

“Are those space pants you’re wearing?”….”Because your ass is out of this world.” – Dominic

Ahhh those one liners! Delivered with an extra serve of cheese as only Dominic knows how!

This Author has got a brilliant formula here that has us inhaling her stories; it’s a perfect mix of passion, humour, thrills and yummy spills. Kick arse heroines and bad arse hero’s that burn up the pages.
