G&J: We’ve decided not to say anything about the story-line of GUNS at all; we don’t need to and we can’t. Saying anything about this FINAL COUNTDOWN is to spoil the ending culmination of a fantastic series; an intense and sexy journey which had us HOOKED!

This series has been pure indulgence; it’s had us fanning ourselves whilst we’ve fallen in love; debated conspiracy theories, teared up and had extensive freezer time. J.A Huss has written some brilliant characters with such depth and intrigue; an addictive series which will always be very special to us. There’s not been one single time reading these books where we haven’t gotten completely caught up in the storyline; where we haven’t discussed the characters at length and where we haven’t been gagging for the next one in line.

“You will never forget this day, Veronica Vaughn. For the rest of your life, whenever someone asks you what the best day of your life was, this will be in your top three.” – Spencer

“What about the other two?” – Veronica

“We haven’t made those memories yet, Bomb. But we will.” – Spencer

GUNS left us satisfied; we’ve come full circle…and now we know and WOW!!! Reading every single story up until this moment has led us to this crescendo. We finished reading with a sigh, a smile, a satisfied heart, a racing pulse as well as a loud laugh at the epilogue which ROCKED!

We’ve had boy crushes; these blokes were LUSH and girl crushes, these chicks were kick arse; namely Bombshell! Jenny crushed on Ronin…big time! Gitte crushed on Ford…massively! Both of us cheated on Ronin and Ford with Spencer in GUNS. Yep, we bloody loved them all!

We make no apologies for any of this.

So, the last instalment, did it live up to being the end where everything is explained and loose ends are tied up? Absolutely! But not only that, JA Huss cleverly introduced some new characters whom we’ll see more of and she did it in a way that came naturally and made sense. And wow….we think we’re in for another treat or two there. Bring it ON!

We love this Author’s writing, it’s seamless, it flows and it’s addictive. Her characters have flaws yet you fall in love with them; you sympathise and you find a connection. Will we be one-clicking this Author? Hell yeah, we have been for a while now and long may it continue!!! Go pick this series up if you haven’t already!
