J&G: 4.5 perfect escape stars!

Jenny:  No doubt about it, Tessa Bailey never fails to deliver a steamy, no holds barred sexy story and her hot alpha males are written to perfection!  Once again this lady delivered and I loved this book!

Reed Lawson….holy hell! I won’t be forgetting him in a hurry. This virile and very alpha SWAT Commander doesn’t mess around. When he wants something he goes after it and when he spies the very proper Southern Julie Lawson look out!  Reed doesn’t do the woo so he relies on his dominant and dirty talking ways to win Julie over.  They say it’s the quiet ones you have to watch and our Julie was a bit of a dark horse and didn’t Reed just love it!

“I don’t want to be treated like a lady.”

The cat and mouse between Reed and Julie was delicious! I loved every minute and to say Reed brought out the wild side in Julie is a bit of an understatement. The sexual chemistry was explosive and then some wasn’t it Gitte?

Gitte: Absolutely YES it really was, Jenny. Thing is about Tessa Bailey, you know what you’re going to get. It does what it says on the tin, and I bloody love it EVERY time. She has a certain style and her stories always have crazy hot nookie, a brilliant heroine and a dominant alpha male that would scare you in real life but that you can’t help falling in love with and swoon over.

‘Women like her didn’t dirty their hands with men like him.’

So yeah, another reason why Tessa Bailey remains a one-click Author for me!

Julie was very prim and proper; a Southern Belle who solely existed to please everyone else. I felt so sorry for her through various stages of this story and then felt empowered right alongside her.

‘She wouldn’t be that girl again. Worrying about things she couldn’t change.’

And yeah, like you said Jenny, Reed the exact opposite, in every way I suppose, brought something out of her. He truly unleashed the wanton and confident woman hiding in Julie; creating fireworks every time they were together. What a perfectly messed up match they made!

Jenny: Reed Lawson – be still my beating heart (among other things)! What a MAN! He may lack in the romantic stakes but flipping ‘eck what he more than made up for it with his bedroom prowess and other attributes!

“If you only knew the things I want to do to you, pixie, you’d already be underneath me with your legs in the air, screaming loud enough to shatter glass.”

Pass the smelling salts! This was such an addictive and sexy read from a lady who never fails to hit the mark with her erotic romances and will always be a 1click for me. Every time!

“Would you like me to take your pants off now so you can really be impressed?”

Oh I was impressed Reed! I was VERY impressed!

Gitte: Yep, let’s add another hot-blooded sexy arse cocky male to our long book boyfriend list. A list that sees all of Tessa Bailey’s heroes on it!

Sure, the man hasn’t quite got the ‘woo’ but he sure has the WOW factor. Tessa writes a blinding male character, there’s always a vulnerability hiding behind that scowling arse-hole brawn exterior!
