Jenny: I was dying to meet up with Wes and Rubi after becoming acquainted with them in Reckless. Argghh Wes..Jax…Wes…Jax..I love both these guys for different reasons and I can’t choose one over the other! Well, what’s not to love about these sexy, hot stunt men with hearts of gold who are demons between the sheets, right?? So yeah…don’t ask me to choose. Not gonna happen!

“I’m so fucking hungry for you.”

I’m kind of in love with Skye Jordan’s stories and characters. In Rebel she provided the right amount of passion, humour, emotion and drama and the sex (with a little kink) and it was OFF THE CHARTS HOT! Dare I say chocolate ice cream will take on a whole new visual from now on Gitte? Wowsers! Pass the whipped cream!

Gitte: I’m loving this series! Stunt men….phwoarrrr!!! Yeah who could choose between Jax and Wes? Not me that’s for sure. This series is what I like to call addictive sexy indulgence reading. It’s got hot passionate alpha males with such big hearts and HUGE passionate appetites. The writing is flawless and enticing providing many many swoon worthy heat inducing moments as well as emotion and laughter.

‘This was not delirium. This was fucking euphoria.’

Hahahaha Jenny, I remember texting you saying I’m trying not to think about hygiene when the whole body melting ice cream scene popped up (pun intended)!

Jenny: Haha! You definitely had me intrigued with that text message! Now, I did sympathise with Rubi and how her past had contributed to her insecurities. This lady didn’t give her heart or trust easily. As I say, I did understand her hesitation in taking the leap Wes desperately wanted her to take because she was certainly a vulnerable character, but in the same instance her indecision tended grate on me and felt it became a little too repetitive. I found myself becoming frustrated and a little irritated the longer it dragged on.

“It’s hard to trust after a lifetime of extremes.”

Wes….I loved, and I mean LOVED this confident, beautiful, generous and sexy man! Add in that Southern country charm, that air of danger and ‘other’ certain skills, and yeah…this guy could melt an igloo! He was certainly tenacious yet so patient in regards to Rubi who was strong willed and took a LOT of convincing!

“Stay, Rubi. Let me hold you tonight.”

I’m really enjoying this series and can’t wait to get stuck into Ricochet after getting a glimpse of Ryker in Rebel! Yummmm!

Gitte: Wes was perfection. What a man; I can’t actually fault anything about his character. I fell in love….BIG love. Heart of pure gold and a body and passion that had me wanting to visit the freezer. And….you all know me by now…HIS ACCENT…melted my knickers off!!!! He had me at sexy Southern drawl!!!

“You’re my favourite.”

Now, Rubi…she was my only niggling issue with this story. I loved her confidence, self-awareness and intelligence. She had a craptastic past that consequently emotionally scarred her, understandably so really. However, her back and forth – will I won’t I got annoying and repetitive. This behaviour was magnified by how completely good hearted and understanding Wes was. Her uncertainty and refusal lasted too long in my opinion and good thing Wes had the patience of a saint!

“My very own rebel.” “I’ll be anything you want….as long as I’m yours.”

Overall I really did enjoy this story and I can’t wait for Ricochet and Ryker! This series is an automatic one-click for me, bring it on!
