Gitte: I absolutely LOVE this series and I’m completely gone for Dom & Seth. They have me wrapped around Seth’s little finger….hmmmm there’s a joke in there somewhere!

“You couldn’t be more perfect.”

This dynamic Mafioso duo has found a place in my heart. I bloody LOVE them. Whilst I really enjoyed the first instalment and was swept away, this second part ROCKED! The dynamics between our anti-heroes was spot on. Part two was thrillingly dark and morally questionable. It was sexy; hot, funny and overwhelmingly emotional and passionate. My heart bled for Dom and Seth…man did I feel the pain and anguish in their respective roles, responsibilities as well as the uncovered tragedy and abuse!

‘This man would be his downfall.’

In the face of revelations who’ll be the last men standing? So much violence and grief; so much jealousy and destruction. But above all; so much LOVE in the face of adversity! As the true honest souls of Dom and Seth slowly unravel and we learn what lies beneath; you truly feel and see their true nature, the size of their damaged hearts of gold and the honest purity of their love.

“He is my Don. He is my man, so don’t fucking dare talk to him like that.”

As Dom and Seth’s journey continue we learn more of the intricate hierarchies in the world of the Mafia accompanied by utter violence and raw heart-break. There were some extremely tender moments between Seth and Dom woven into the dark and ugly – I’ll never look at a lemon cupcake the same ever again aww! They had me in stitches of laughter too. The scene with the olive oil and Dom’s outrage at the ‘clubbing scene’ followed by the actual scene had me crying with laughter! The way these two are complete chalk and cheese and the way they bounce off each other and spar is PERFECTION. I have to say I think the writing is incredibly clever as is the character development in this instalment. BRAVO K.A Merikan; you girls have created something pretty bloody special here in Seth & Dom – intense dangerous and unpredictable. I’m in LOVE with everything about them and their story and can’t wait for more especially after how we left them…sobbing! This is most definitely going to be one of my favourite m/m series; what do you think, Jenny?

Jenny:  Oh Gitte, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVED IT and part two offered so much more than I had anticipated! Oh sure, I expected, heat, suspense and drama and a few giggles along the way because Dom and Seth bouncing off each other is absolutely priceless. What I  didn’t expect was to be laughing like crazy at some of their antics one minute then feeling wretched and sobbing over heart rending scenes the next. I cried with laughter, I cried with heartache and I positively swooned watching these two polar opposites as they sought to decipher the magnitude of their feelings.

“You really are like from a rom-com, arent’ you.”

Dom’s backstory left me reeling and heartbroken. As we started to chip away his armour and began to see the man beneath the uncompromising, dangerous and unpredictable demeanour, this fascinating man stole my heart that much more. Dom is something else.  Oh boy did these authors manage to elicit some intense emotions where Dom was concerned and every turn of the page felt like as though I was glancing into his soul. This man was a revelation and his connection with Seth was felt deep in my heart.

“And who are you in  in this story?”
“The devil, I suppose. Tempting you into sin.”

Guns n’ Boys, the story of two men bound by the Mafiosa code of duty and loyalty, is one of passion, violence, drama, thrills, love and lust, vividly told with moving, touching, funny and stirring realty. These authors introduced me to two characters who have undoubtedly stolen my heart. Lemon cupcakes….sigh….I think my heart may have swelled out of my chest at that point.

“I hope you trust me.”
“With my life.”

There was so much growth Dom and Seth as the realisation of the intensity of their feelings overwhelmed them. The relationship really does prosper though it’s certainly not without its pitfalls. The banter, the cluelessness on both parts in regards to their relationship and the sheer differences between these two all added up to an amusing, passionate, violent, entertaining, steamy and thrilling series that I’m absolutely HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE. The ending left me holding my breath and I don’t think I will be able to exhale until I have the next instalment in my hot little hands. Roll on 2015!
