G&J: Perfection….Absolute shiver inducing PERFECTION. Tiffany Reisz surpasses every expectation yet again with her sublime writing which literally grabs you and drops you right into the thick of it. You feel everything as every single one of your senses is awakened and assaulted, but in the most brilliant of ways. The undeniable talent this Author possesses is quite simply mind-blowing. The eerie atmosphere; the scent, the touch and above all the emotion; the force of her writing power is magnificent and awe-inspiring. We laughed, cried and trembled as we lived this journey with Gwen, Edwin and the boys.

The passion, sarcastic banter and clever wit was once again rife and riveting. The characters; Gwen and Edwin were, in an unbelievable short space of time, completely fleshed out and we fell in eternal love with them, as well as all the boys of Marshall Academy. Actually we believed and loved every single character no matter how minor. That’s just the Ms. Reisz way.

Edwin was an amazing man; so powerful, imposing and as Gwen said ‘virile’. He exuded dominance, intelligence, loyalty and of course ..sigh… intense sensuality.  As for Gwen; she’s the epitome of everything a heroine should be. No-nonsense, passionate, inspirational and confident in who she is. Both had that trademark Reisz stellar wit we know and love from previous books.

“You’ll stay, won’t you? No matter what happens? You’ll stay here with me? I shouldn’t ask you to stay. You don’t even know what you’re giving up. But please…”

Tiffany Reisz packs a punch, she doesn’t mess around and very quickly demands your attention as well as your complete emotional involvement. And she has it, every single time. This is why she’s a favourite – effortless, flawless and hypnotizing; Tiffany Reisz is synonymous with captivating uniqueness.

“Every book I’ll ever need? Sounds like Heaven,” she said with smile. “It’s a library,” he said. “To me it’s the same thing.”

The Headmaster is full of symbolism, classic literary references and two main characters who astound and bewitch. You cannot look away as every single word carries you on a haunting and vivid journey of romance, mystery, loyalty and friendship. Once again Tiffany Reisz makes the reader think and evaluate values and morals whilst revelling in her penned pure beauty. No one else can make you feel a myriad of emotion in one single sentence; from a heart-felt laugh to a heart-breaking tear.

This story is everything you could possibly want and desire in a mere 125 pages nonetheless. PERFECTION! The Headmaster is a MUST read as is anything else written by Tiffany Reisz.
