OVERWHELMED BY YOU (Tear Asunder #2) by NASHODA ROSE

“We’ve just lost our way.”

We’re still trying to piece together our hearts after the heart-breaking roller coaster ride that is Overwhelmed By You. Honestly, our hearts feel like they’ve run a marathon then gone through a spin cycle followed by a pummelling through the words penned by the brilliant Nashoda Rose.

It was almost too much….but not quite. Kat and Ream were bloody brilliant characters which we knew already they were going to be. Both have experienced and are experiencing such heart ache and trauma that left us thinking enough is enough please, just give them the happiness and peace they so truly deserve. Let them learn to love and be loved in return.  Both made us cry in equal measure but Ream; gorgeous – sexy bad arse – loving – fucked up Ream. Our hearts…..seriously his pain was overwhelming. And his heart; his heart is so big! This man both broke and stole ours. What a hero; Nashoda sure knows how to write them!

“I can breathe easily with you…When we were apart…You ever feel like your body is silently screaming?”

Again, we’ve said this before and we’ll say it again; we LOVE this Author’s vivid and flawless writing. The emotion is intense; the darkness eerily shrouds you as you read and unravel a past so haunting and emotionally devastating it takes a pretty strong person to break through this wall of hurt and pain.

“Fire playing with fire only leads to an uncontrollable inferno. You ready for that, Kitkat?”

Kat is sweet, strong and very loving. She’s got a great head on her shoulders yet suffers in silence.  We fell in love with her even more and never faltered as her character strength and vulnerability was spot. In all the drama and darkness her and Ream realised that in order to trust and build on your love truth and revelations play the most important part. Ream and Kat’s journey individually and their relationship wasn’t easy nor was it pretty. It was gritty and raw with violence and terror. It was intensely emotional.

“If I tell you I might lose you.”

“You’ll lose me if you don’t.”

It was brilliant to catch up with the characters again and to get snippets of what’s to come from Deck and Georgie’s story. Deck when he appears steals the show so how can we not move straight on to Perfect Chaos next. This group of friends have fantastic banter and a bond so strong. You feel like you’re a part of this group friends and you want and need them to be happy and safe.

“I belong with you. I belong to you. And I love you.”

Right; we’re on the Nashoda Rose reading train…Perfect Chaos next and we can’t wait for more Deck and to finally get his and Georgie’s story!
