It took me two months to build up my courage and strength to read the last book in this, one of my all-time favourite series. Two months!! I was scared, I felt extremely emotional and I was not in any way ready to say goodbye to my boys – Ty and Zane. They have my heart – they stole it a long time ago. This series has had me riveted, mesmerized and addicted. It’s had me laughing, crying and swooning whilst sitting on the edge of my seat from the dramatic thrills and suspense.

My pulse was racing, my heart breaking and rejoicing – this series has it ALL! No question – no doubt – no hesitation. This series is amazing. FBI, CIA, Mafia Cartels and Special Forces – agents’ gone rogue and intriguing mystery and warfare. Over the top? Hell yeah, but who cares when it’s written so well and teamed with an absolutely passionate and beautiful evolving romance.

This last instalment soared from the get go. It’s been a while and I’ve missed my boys but bloody hell did they take me on an explosive finale of a ride. SO much drama, SO many tears, SO many laughs and SO much love and romance. It was jam packed and I have to say at times I was willing myself to stop as I was too scared or too emotional to read on. We’ve come a long way but Abi Roux did not go gently into that goodnight; she pulled out all the stops to wind this journey up. I didn’t know whether to hide my kindle at times or keep reading.

“We’re not dying today, Zane, not like this….Not like this!”

Let’s talk romance for a minute. Ty and Zane’s romance epitomizes love and passion. Yes, I’m obsessed with them. I love them. They are rough and tough hard arses but they have an endearing vulnerability, a wicked sense of humour – both in their own unique way. I want to know them in real life; I wish they were not living in fiction.

“You shot me, Zane.”

“Baby, if I’d shot you, you wouldn’t be alive complaining about it.”

“Well, someone shot me. It’s upsetting.”

Okay, fine, I’m more than obsessed but I’m proud and I own it. They’ve come a long way and we’ve been with them every step of the way from two agents hating on each other to two men in love.

‘..Ty raised his head, causing the pillow to fall away and squinted at Zane. His hair was an insult to humanity. Was it possible for Zane to love this man any more than he did right now?’

Let’s not forget the gorgeous and lovable Sidewinders too. The rest of the lads all have a special place in my heart; always. On to the explosive suspense…literally explosive and high dramatics. I think I lost count on beatings, gunshot wounds and stabbings. BUT….amongst all the twists and revelations, the double crossings and the fighting with and amongst each other shone friendship, loyalty and brotherhood. I’ll miss it all and I’ll always treasure my time with Ty & Zane.
