This book had us laughing at the banter, smiling at the romance, tearing up over the emotion and swooning at the intensity and passion. But most of all it has us falling in geek love with the fabulously sexy spectacled Foster. Yeah; whilst we loved everything about this book – Foster was IT for us. This guy…THIS GUY!!!!

“You know I love it when you talk nerdy to me…”

We say this a lot but a book that has everything – a book that’s so well written you feel everything – a book that has a hero and heroine you fall in absolute love with; well if that’s not book love we don’t know what is! This story was pretty flawless and every time we had to put it down we counted the minutes till we could pick it up again. It was addictive, intelligent and thoughtful. It was sexy, sweet and funny. It was everything you’d wish for as a reader. Except for one small thing…we wanted more. More afters – an epilogue – just more. It ended too soon and a tad abruptly, but then we’re greedy readers when we fall in love with a story and a beautiful couple. A great build up deserves a great convincing finale.

‘Oh shit, what kind of nerd fest did I just sit down to?’

Well EJ – one we’d do anything to sit down to with you! We loved this girl – she was smart, sassy and side splittingly funny. One of our favourite heroines out there. She lived and breathed art with passion. She knew who she was and what she wanted and who she definitely didn’t want to be. She knew she may not have the choice though. She never really had one to begin with. That is until an unlikely inspiration and ‘enabler’ walked into her life. Someone she least expected and someone who had the potential to enable her to finally realise she has a choice. To find her voice.

Foster…..FOSTER! Well; be still our nerd loving hearts. He was the complete package. He talked good chemistry and the banter between him and EJ was classic. His passion and intelligence was intense and we loved how he started as a friend and how he, in our opinion, drove this friendship and relationship. He enabled self-realisation, growth and self-fulfilment. This man was everything and with his own demons he himself went through self-healing.

This was our first book by Renee Ericson but it definitely won’t be our last. We absolute loved More Than Water and highly recommend it to every romance reader out there. We felt every word and every emotion. It was like a breath of fresh air that went straight to our book loving hearts.
