‘Me? I’m a pawn. I’m a bargaining chip. Come tomorrow, I’m a compromise.’

Well, wasn’t this an enticing short and sexy teaser for what is to become JM Darhower’s next novel Twenty to Life. We devour everything this Author writes and it’s been a while since we last felt so incredibly excited for what’s to come next. What a tease! This Author managed to achieve what a full sized novel usually does and that is quite something.

JM Darhower writes one hell of a mafia centred story and this one promises to be amazing from what we’ve read so far. We connected immediately to the characters and the story – well what we were given – and whilst the twist wasn’t a shocker we are dying to see how it plays out. What we do know is that we’re pretty sure it will be thrilling, full of suspense and incredibly passionate. JM Darhower never lets us down in that respect.

‘But love, isn’t what matters. It doesn’t mean anything. Loyalty and respect gets you further these days.’

Maddalena Bazzoli has one last night of freedom before her life takes a path decided by her Father – an infamous Mafia Boss. She knows, she has no choice nor any say in how the rest of her life pans out so decides to have one last night of passion exercising her own free will. Enter one sexy mysterious nameless stranger who provides Maddalena with just what she craves and needs before becoming someone else’s……and in return so does she for someone ‘Lucky’……
