Our Review

‘After twenty years of nothing but darkness, I wanted to give him his sky. His night and his stars.’

Tillie Cole needs to write ordinary book soon or we’re going to run out of accolades to bestow on this phenomenally talented author however if Reap is anything to go by, we can’t see that happening any time soon because Reap delivered everything we had hoped for in this series. What a powerfully moving story this was.

“Love?” he asked. His green eyes searched mine as if he could find the answer in their depths.
I explained “It’s a feeling. It’s that fullness you feel in your heart, your soul. The tightness and breathlessness you feel in your chest. It’s passion. It’s the need, the absolute need to be with another, like this, joined, unwilling to be separated for anything. It’s you and I, Zaal.”
“Love,” he whispered……

We constantly find ourselves asking…‘is there nothing this woman can’t do?’ There are times when it’s difficult to reconcile Tillie Cole to the author we first discovered when we read, laughed and loved Eternally North, but it seems no matter how different her story, how much she evolves as an author or how many times she steps out of her comfort zone, Tillie always manages to stamp her unique flair and extraordinary talent on her stories….her ‘Tillie’isms ‘ leave us in no doubt that we’re completely captivated by her exceptional ability to tell a bloody remarkable story.

‘Two tears fell over his cheeks and trickled down his olive skin, then down onto my chest, rolling over his identity ink. My heart constricted at this devastating sight, then completely shattered when he sucked in a stuttered breath and asked, “I….I am truly free?”

No matter if she’s making us laugh, cringe, gasp, sob, wince or swoon…..Tillie Cole utterly bewitches us with her words and in Reap, Tillie has once again delivered a thought provoking and heartbreaking story, told with raw passion and unrestrained emotions that left us reeling at times as two people, desperately in love, are caught in the crossfire of the Kostava and Tostaia grudge that threatens to tear them apart. It’s a story that reached into our hearts and never let go.

“Take my hand, Zaal. Let me show you the truth. Trust me. Always trust me.”

The tenderness, kindness and love Talia bestowed on our beautiful broken Zaal, a man who had known nothing but cruelty, pain and darkness will tear at your soul and like us, leave you desperately wanting the next book as Kisa, Luka, Talia and Zaal’s story continues.  Don’t miss this one guys!

“Zaal Kostava, you’ve stolen my forbidden heart.”

Synopsis

Raised as a prototype for the Georgian Bratva’s obedience drug, 221 fails to think, act or live for himself; his master’s perfectly-crafted killing puppet. Standing at six foot six, weighing two-hundred and fifty pounds, and unrivaled in to-the-death combat, 221 successfully secures business for the Georgian Mafiya Boss of NYC, in the dark world of the criminal underground.

Until his enemies capture him.

Talia Tolstaia dreams to break from the heavy clutches of Bratva life. She dreams of another life—away from the stifling leash of her Russian Bratva Boss father and from the brutality of her work at The Dungeon—her criminal family’s underground death match enterprise. But when she stumbles upon her family’s captive, who is more monster than man, she starts to see the man underneath. A powerful, beautiful, damaged man whose heart calls to hers.
But sacrifices must be made—blood for blood… life for life… Souls for scarred souls…
