We’ve been avid fans of Barbara Elsborg’s stories for over 10 years now and adore her stories. One thing we can’t understand is why this author isn’t more widely read. Readers really need to give her books a go! We know you’ll soon be as hooked as us! Barbara Elsborg’s stories are some of the most well-researched (we’d love to see her Google searches ‘wink, wink’) and remarkably told tales you will pick up. An incredible talent, and one of our favourite MM authors.

In Tell No One, Barbara Elsborg once again regales us with a fabulously suspenseful, witty, edge-of-your-seat, steamy, and emotional opposites attract MM romance, complete with a broody detached undercover operative, and a sweet man with a talent for putting his foot in his mouth, and we were hooked immediately, falling in love with sweet Tag, and broody Delaney from the get-go. Delaney and Tag truly are opposites in every way. The sensitive soul and the tough shell – they shouldn’t work, but they absolutely do, and we loved every second of their journey.

Tell No One is told in a dual POV which really allows us to get to the nitty gritty of Tag and Delaney’s conflicting personalities and vulnerabilities. The back stories for both men, and in particular Tag were written so beautifully and unfolded so exquisitely and painfully, that our hearts were aching, as we flicked each page eagerly anticipating what was to come.

When sacked from his job, Tag, desperate for money, agrees to attend a party – whilst every warning bell in his head tells him it’s a bad idea, the need for cash negates any hesitation he may feel. Hmm, we think he should have paid attention to those warning bells.

Undercover, Delaney is in the thick of all that is on offer at the exclusive Harborne House – and he’s certainly got his hands full when his path crosses with Tag. Keeping him safe is his main priority but Tag doesn’t make it easy with his snippy one-liners and inability to know when to shut up. Both lives are forever altered as the fight to survive becomes a race to the finish.

Gosh, we loved this book! Barbara’s trademark witty batter is ever present, her ability to tell a cracker of a story ensured we were riveted from start to finish. The heat between Tag and Delaney had us fanning ourselves constantly. This lady sure knows how to keep a reader entertained – between passion, dread, excitement, and emotion, we couldn’t put this book down. A real winner!
